Thanks to Wild Water West for hosting our visit, all opinions are my own.
When we visited Sioux Falls last month, the temperatures were steadily rising. We needed a way to cool off, and Wild Water West provided just that. South Dakota’s largest waterpark, Wild Water West features an array of water fun for the whole family, including a 500,000 gallon wave pool and a lazy river with a swim up bar! This fun-filled waterpark is definitely a safe haven from the hot summer temperatures, and a must do when you visit the area.
Wild Water West Attractions

- 1 tube slide
- 1 body slide
- Lazy river with swim up bar
- Caribbean Falls water playground
- 4 foot deep Activity Pool with zero depth entry
- Baby pool
Want to take a break from the water? Included with your admission into Wild Water West is access to these fun land attractions as well!

There is also an amazing paintball course that you can visit for an additional fee, with equipment for rent, or you can bring your own!
What I loved most about Wild Water West is that it has plenty to do to keep everyone happy the whole day, but everything is spaced close together and in such a way that you can watch the whole park at once. This let me relax a little and let my 14 and 12 year olds explore together and do things like the wave pool and slides, while my younger two and myself enjoyed attractions like the Lazy River, Caribbean Falls and the Activity Pool.
