By now we are all aware that cooking was never my passion. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I do not like spending hours in the kitchen slaving over a meal. As a busy work-at-home and homeschooling mom of four boys, I need quick and easy meal solutions to help put a healthy meal on the table fast. A while ago we somehow adopted taco Tuesdays in the house. The boys love it, it is easy and I don’t have to try and think of an item for dinner. Well, now we have added a new day to the line-up, Manwich Mondays!
The boys love Manwich and always have. It really does have kid-stopping power. They have no trouble setting aside the video games to come to the table and enjoy a meal made with Manwich. After all, you need to hands to eat a Manwich. With its thick and hearty sauce, they can enjoy a messylicious meal, and I can rest easy knowing there are no artificial flavors or preservatives in the Manwich recipe.
There are three different varieties of Manwich to choose from, Manwich Original, Manwich Bold and Manwich Thick & Chunky. Baked Sloppy Joe Cups
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Heat large skillet over medium-high heat; cook beef and onion 7 minutes or until beef is crumbled and no longer pink, stirring occasionally. Drain. Add Sloppy Joe sauce; cook 1 minute more or until hot.
- Meanwhile, press 1 biscuit into bottom and up sides of each medium muffin cup, being careful not to tear dough. Place 1/4 cup meat mixture in each cup. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
- Sprinkle cheese evenly over top of each cup. Let stand 1 minute or until cheese softens. Carefully remove from pan.
