When I was pregnant with the surro-baby we redid several rooms in our home. This included our kitchen, where we replaced the dishwasher, all the tile around the counters as well as the back splash behind the stove. I also redid the counters themselves to look like granite. We decided not to redo the faucet though, as there was nothing technically wrong with it. It worked, but it never quite lived up to the kitchen’s new look. So, when I got the chance to review the Danze Opulence Two Handle Bridge Faucet with Spray, I jumped for joy! Finally, our sink would match the rest of our amazing kitchen makeover.
Danze has only been a known brand in the United States since 2000, but they have already established themselves as the leading manufacturer of furnishings for the kitchen and bath. From faucets to toilets, their products are gorgeous and crafted from the highest quality materials. They believe that boring faucets should be “against plumbing codes” and that “elegant doesn’t have to mean expensive.” Danze has a huge selection of products and styles to meet any homeowners’ needs.
Our Danze faucet arrived very carefully packed. Each piece was in its own separate compartment to discourage scratching and denting during delivery. Instructions were well laid out and this is where living with a handyman comes in handy. Matt had this faucet installed in a matter of minutes. Honestly, it took him longer to yank out our old faucet than it did to pop in the new one. Finally, I had a sprayer that worked instead of randomly shooting water out at odd angles!
This is what our faucet looked like before. I took this when we were actually doing the remodel in the kitchen and I was painting the counters.
Now, this is what our faucet looks like now. Pretty swanky huh? The name for this faucet it so fitting, because “opulence” is exactly the vibe it gives off. In fact, my only complaint is that now I feel I need a new sink to live up to this amazing Danze faucet. The Opulence faucet sells for $458.90, which is a good value compared to other more expensive brands we looked at that were of lesser quality.
The knobs for the hot and cold water twist in the opposite directions of the ones on our old faucet, so that took some getting used to, but it certainly is not a flaw in the product. The other great thing about the Danze products? They come in a variety of finishes. The Opulence faucet for example comes in six different finishes, including the stainless steal that we chose. These aren’t cheap flimsy products either, they are quite substantial and I can see this faucet lasting us for many many years to come.
Want to gussy up your kitchen or bathroom? You can’t go wrong with Danze products. The quality of the materials and the products is amazing and I have no qualms about recommending them. You can purchase a wide range of Danze products in a variety of price points online or find a store near you.
