I don’t get time for many hobbies or extra-curricular activities outside work and my boys, but every once in a while, I am able to carve out a section of spare time. When I am able to carve out this time for myself, I enjoy playing games online. I don’t like to get into anything too in-depth that you have to be present for day after day, because again, I don’t have time, but I do love to play a good game once in a while. My favorite type of games to play are the Time Management games because I am good at them, and they really challenge me. I have written before about my love for the Delicious series with Emily and her many adventures, and now the latest Delicious game has been released, Delicious – Emily’s Hopes and Fears.
With over 20 million downloads nationwide, it is easy to see why this game is so popular one you start playing it, especially if you have been a fan of other games that came earlier in the series. As a player, I have watched Emily grow, get married, have a baby and now, in the latest installment, Emily must face her biggest fear, when her daughter comes down with a mysterious illness that is coincidentally similar to the exact illness described in her grandpa’s journal which her dad has been reading to her.
Emily holds down the fort as her husband take the journey into the ice roads of Alaska to try and find the mysterious flower that they hope will cure their daughter. I love that this game as a true story line that you can uncover as you progress through the different levels.
I have been playing the game for a few weeks now, and I am almost to chapter 20. There are 95 exciting chapters in this game, and you can get a 10 chapter free trial. Delicious – Emily’s Hopes and Fears is available at Gamehouse.com, Zylom.com and in all app stores starting at $9.99.
