Help! My Life Has Been Taken Over By Balls!

I mean this quite literally, and not in the way you think, so get your head out of the gutter people. For the last month and continuing on until the end of May, my life has been completely taken over by baseball. Three of the boys are playing this year and of course the schedules can’t be on the same days, so we are at the ball park at least five days a week for hours! My kids better love me for this.

Is your life currently being held hostage by sports too?

  1. Yes they are…soccer balls. But I have to say, I was expecting a much different story from that title this morning. #GutterThinker

  2. lol Kelly, clean up that mind girlie!

I love watching them, but there comes a point where I dread going there for one more hour. 🙂

  3. I wouldn't say hostage since baseball is like my favorite thing ever – but I can see where it would be overwhelming!

  4. Aww I love you for it even if you kids don't. I wish my oldest would have played baseball. Our youngest will, he is 2.5 and already has a GREAT arm!

  5. It isn't that I don't love doing it with them and for them, I just wish it wasn't almost every night and at 6pm. It really messes with the dinner and homework schedule lol.

  6. I nearly put my 3 year old in soccer or t-ball this spring . . . till I remembered how hectic the schedules are for kid sports . . . I think we'll wait awhile yet. 🙂

  7. Thankfully, my boys aren't into competitive sports. The little one might be as he gets a bit older and understands more, but right now I've avoided the torture.

  8. we aren't taken over by sports yet…but I see it in our future. Baseball is fun – I hope my kids like it when they're old enough

  9. Oh count me in for sure! Baseball is all anyone is talking about plus 2 practices a week and 2 games this week. ugggh lol

  10. Don't miss those days at all! We've discovered a sport my daughter and I love doing together…fishing! Stopping by from BYB…thought I would say Hi! Have a great weekend!

  11. Thank God Anthony hated baseball. It was the most boring thing ever. Now the twins…who knows, it's too soon to tell. But at least being the same age, they will likely be on the same team!

  12. Not yet but its going to be when both kids are enrolled this summer. My head is in the gutter you and I live in a home full of balls. There is nothing girly in this house other than my bedroom.

  13. Wow, that's a lot of baseball! My kids are a bit too young yet, but I see it coming as they are already yelling they're bored every 2 seconds!
