‘Move Over Fat’ Monday – I’m a #Shaklee180 Blogger!

I am proud to say that I did a great job of staying on track this week. Unfortunately, my scale obviously did not agree. I did not lose anything and may have actually gained a pound, but it was not for a lack of trying. I exercised at least an hour, most days an hour and a half, except for last night because I had dosed myself with NyQuil so I could finally get some rest from this monster cold. I tracked every single calorie that passed my lips all week, but still that scale stayed put. I think I may have started the week by not eating enough calories, but I have that under control now, so we’ll see how this week goes.

As promised, I am posting before pictures today as well as my measurements and yes, even my weight. I am doing this, because if you can’t go big, you might as well go home. With that said, you may want to shield your poor eyes, because I decided to post the before pictures with my belly showing. Trust me, it is embarrassing. Beyond embarrassing really, but I feel better knowing that I won’t look like this soon. Soon, I will look a little better and a little bit after that, I will look better still. Until one day, I will be able to look at these before pictures with pride at how far I have come. Until that day, I ask that you be kind and realize that I am working hard to make a change.

This was my best FitBit day all week. I figure each week I will share a picture of my best day!

My last big piece of news is that I was accepted as a Shaklee180 blogger! Basically, that means that I will receive products from Shaklee to help me meet my goal over the course of several months. I really hope you all will follow along with me, as I will have frequent updates over the next few months and of course, you can stop by every Monday and link up your fitness or weight loss posts on ‘Move Over Fat’ Mondays!

  3. Don't be so hard on yourself! It takes a lot of courage to put it all out there, so to speak, and show the world what you've got going on. I know that Shaklee will help you (and me!) get closer to that goal.

  6. I am SO with you on doing the "right" things and the scale not moving… or moving in the wrong direction. I'm afraid to weigh myself. I haven't in four weeks now, and… I'm guessing I'm not going to be happy. But YAY for Shaklee, right?
