The boys and I travel a lot. During all of our travels, we have tried a lot of different types of food. In Louisiana for instance, we feasted on Crawfish and in Maine this Summer, the boys tried lobster rolls for the first time. A few years ago in Chattanooga, TN., we had a snack that we had never had before, they were BBQ pork nachos and they were being served at the zoo. They were delicious and I have been craving them ever since. So, when Hormel approached me about creating a “Snack outside the box” recipe with their LLOYDS® meat, those BBQ Pork Nachos are the firs thing that came to mind.

For my recipe, I chose to use LLOYD’S® BBQ Seasoned Shredded Pork. This was the perfect product to use in order to recreate the delicious BBQ Pulled Pork Nachos I had had in Tennessee. BBQ Pork Nachos
- LLOYD’S® BBQ Pork
- Tortilla Chips
- Friend Onion Topping
- Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- Chopped Green Onions
Step 1: Heat the LLOYD’S® BBQ Pork according to package instructions.
Step 2: One heated, spread some BBQ pork over some tortilla chips on a plate.
Step 3: Top the BBQ Pork with fried onion topping, sharp shredded cheddar cheese and chopped green onions.
